Have You Ever Kissed Someone?
I have kissed two boys in my life.
The first was because I thought I loved him.
Kissing him was innocence,
Like a breath of fresh air on a hot summer day.
The second was because I no longer wanted to love the first.
Kissing him was like a fire,
Consuming me from the inside out.
I kissed the first because I wanted to find myself,
To know how it felt to be loved.
I kissed the second because I needed to lose myself,
To forget how it felt to be hurt.
