Wonderland
If only I hadn't fallen
 down the rabbit hole.
 If only I were normal
 sized.
 Not too big
 or small,
 disproportionate.
 I stand deflated,
 microscopic,
 lost among the leaves.
 The flowers talking, mocking
 laughing.
 I am apart
 -an Alice.
If only I could stop myself
 from eating cake.
 I wouldn't grow so tall,
 a giant among the pupils.
 Maybe I scare them away.
The rabbit with its pocket watch,
  the deck of cards
 fall down.
 They think me smart,
 larger than life,
yet inside I am a mouse
 the cat could catch.
 If only they could see
 me.
 That I am but
 lost
 alone
 in Wonderland.
