Spectrum
Her head was so filled with wonderful, colorful thoughts that she dared not share with anybody except the cover of darkness.
She spewed heartache onto the lives of all the people whose attention she garnered. Except the single solitary being that made her so wish she was less guarded. Made her want to turn on the light to her abstract personality and shed it onto something so brightly lit and cast the spectrum of her mind into every vast corner of the world. Filling up the void her multiple personalities left motionless in the mixture of nobody and nothing.
She floated from happy to sad in a moment’s notice, but never for the same reason twice. She forgot about material things and chose to focus solely on those that bring purpose and reassurance to what the main truth to life is. The positive elements.
The wind and the rain, chased away by the sunshine and butterflies. But on the nights she lay still and quiet, in a city as vast as the feelings she lay pondering, she did not feel as at peace with her being as she appeared to be.
The feelings she gave off only left a temporary glow in the chasm of her mind. It was as if as quickly as the bright colors came, they were replaced by an unnavigable fog that left a grotesque film over everything, taking extraneous time to extract from the sole of her soul.
But then as always, the shift through the spectrum will come, and the rays will shine through, assisting her in instilling her endless glow on those around her.
