Shimmer curtain, spotlight slack
All eyes are on you
One of the cities better views,
They say
What are you drowning?
You sat up silent
So he stood up and went
Quicksand with a layer of gold on top
Like the cymbals you clap
Against your hip, hop
He will be your drummer
