Mirrors
They are everywhere
The constant reflection of my face,
The audacity of some
To simply gaze.
Silently smirking, stupidly staring
They are lonely.
I never thought that society would change so,
But their lips never stop to take a breath
To observe the beneficence of the world.
They were too busy talking behind each other’s backs.
How such insignificant things matter
And we see all of what we are judged in a mirror.
But they reflect who we are and what we think
What would we do without them?
