I can't tell you where I've been

The skies are grey
while the birds don't chirp
only exploring for prey
while the humans kill one another for their own game
its fight to be the fittest
where no one it thing can be tamed
struggling for survival
in this messy world
we live in today

The flowers don't bloom
as they gloom
in the dry cracking soil
this place is mysterious
by which it has no name
this place is what we don't notice
from that it shall be called
the Dark Side
of what is the world
on the other side
