The Girl He Imagined
As the wind blows gracefully
I feel it.
When the goose bumps appear
I know she’s there.
As our bodies touch
I notice her fragrance.
When I glance
I admire her hair.
As we meet
I think we blush.
When she’s here
I wonder if she cares.
As she goes home
I desire her profusely.
When her face disappears
I hope she returns.
As days turn to weeks
I become miserable.
When her voice called out
I turned, to find no one.
