When darkness comes and tries to conquer,
I am with you.
When things get rough and difficult,
I am with you.
Through grasping hands of anger and hate,
I am with you.
I am with you when things are hard.
I am with you- nothing can pull me away.
Like a chain, we remain strong.
Should things be like a dying sunset,
Know that I am with you.

I think i have an idea of what it means to me. When i read your poem it reminded me of my best friend and my tiwn in some way, i only know her for less than a year but feels like so much longer when being with her. We're like sisters always together and there for each other no matter what. Other than that i loved your poem especially when you kept repeating I am with you it kinda gave a special touch to it so Great work. Keep writing ;)
