Favorite Quote:
I think, at a child's birth, if a mother could ask a fairy godmother to endow it with the most useful gift, that gift should be curiosity. Eleanor Roosevelt

I am like a rose in a cactus garden
an unassuming beauty surrounded by thorns.
When the beauty is looked passed, you can see my thorns
thorns I have grown because of fears and insecurities
But perhaps I am a cactus in a rose garden.
A spiny and prickly beast surrounded by beauty.
Attention is given to my smaller, more colorful counterparts.
When my flowers appear, I have more than a single bloom.
