Bright as day

From up on a summer hill
your message shines as bright
as day
A lonely passerby outlived by waves
With eyes to move mountains
to see across horizons
If I want to stay
and watch you from a summer hill
Imagine your silhouette on its way
home
I will never be without the faith
to call and be heard
We are vast empty acres of homeland
missing our long awaited breeze

This poem describes that wonderful feeling you get when you see a long awaited friend or family member slowly appearing over the horizon as you watch and wait for them.
