They promised happiness came from inside
All this time I believed they lied
Till I thought I found love in his eyes
But found hate in his lies
Eventually I let go of my hate
But in the meantime I grew bitter inside
I thought I would die till I found love inside
and in the sky
with the ground and the life that thrived
But never with a human, to great was the fear of hurt
In time the needs subsides
So I let it all go
To let it all thrive
