Suffocated

I can't come up to breathe
The water suffocating me
I'm drowning in my fears
Waves crashing above the surface
I can almost taste defeat
Depression's killing me
I'm so close to letting in
Just give up I say
It'd be easier that way
I can see the sky through the clear water
Push through, I have to push through
My heart beating fast
There so close to the surface
About to breathe happiness
But I fall back down again
Suffocated
