I'm not mean, just honest. Yes, there's a difference.

of course there were signs
but pride
threw lemon in your eyes
like a mushroom on a tree
it grew and spread
diminishing
your beauty
when you looked down and saw
the blotch of darkness
there was nothing left but
to scream
isn’t it supposed to be
a flower?
blooming bright and
standing tall
words of wisdom
be strong
rot claims the weak
while those who
bend not break
hang on
but how can you stay strong?
rip off the blight and
watch it come again
and again
until
finally
you collapse
rotted through

Wow, great great poem. You really have a way of making the words work.
