Deep in the ground,
Cold as can be with my brothers and sisters all around
Till we sprout,
In the warm bright sun growing up and maturing until spring,
When the lawnmower comes to slay
How can this be?

One day I’m here on my own
The next moment it is here
OH NO!,
How could this happen?
How could this be?
I never saw this forecast on News Channel Fourteen
In a second the mower is here grinning at me through jaws of death,
He starts up his engine with a loud
VROOOOOM!
The blades cut through me like warm cheese and in a minute I’m flying to a death
traveling far ,and fast
Till I hit a wall,
KER-SPLAT!
I’m flattened with piles of my brothers and sisters all around me
Oh how could this be?
