Half A Heart

My heart is torn in half for each to bear,
falling for one while the other is still there.
Mixed emotions clash one another,
they collide and contradict each other.
Confused in my own thoughts on which to pick,
wishing my mind and heart would just click.
Lost on where to go and who to choose.
Struggling to follow my heart, strayed by each bruise.
With half a heart to have already given,
I'm stuck to take back one and hope to be forgiven.
Left with this dilemma to overcome,
hoping that the choice i make is the right one.
