You've traveled the paths, I've yet to walk.
You spread your prudence to those in need
And love to people all alone.
Letting your kindness join the way
Imprinting the ground with beliefs
You say,
Be calm when you're angry
Or else you'll do something regretful.
Express your sense of humor
It's not good if it's left hidden.
The power of laughter is immense.
Convey your beliefs and
Stand strong for what you accept.
Be intrepid and you'll get far.
Keep hope in your back pocket
So you'll always have it.
These pearls of wisdom
Will never be forgotten, Mother.

My mother is my role model. She has taught me so much in life and she's the reason why I've come so far. It's a way for me to thank her for all she's done for me.
