Life is the sweet whisper of the wind against your skin.
Life is fresh winter snow laden upon the land,
A canvas of white,
Not yet imprinted.
Life is the sun's arms reaching around you
Holding you in its seemly eternal grasp.
Life is a lemon, stinging sour against your lips,
In a moment of sweetness.

Life is the monsters crouching in the oblivious darkness of your closet.
Life is the tree limp rasping against your window,
A man in the twilight moon.
Life is the voices murmuring in your ear
In the isolation of night.

Life is your tears dissolving into the soil of the earth,
nurturing no seed.
Life is a lung filled with fluid,
Given up hope of breathe.
Life is the silence of a thumping heart beat,
When the music has come to a final end.

Life is a blood soaked rose between a pair of folded hands,
long gone cold.

I appreciate your definition of life. But i would like to hear more about the beuty and mystery of it. None the less, your work never disapoints.

I love the repetition of 'life', each one of them showing different aspect of the same word.
