I wait for an eternity
Wanting to tell you
My deepest sorrows
My hopeless fears
But you never understand
I try with all my might
To talk to you, to explain
But you do as you please
We fight
You scream, I yell
We argue
All I am trying to do is help you listen
Why won't you listen?

The author's comments:
Well, I think that most teenagers have quite some trouble conveying themselves and their words to others or are sometimes misunderstood. So, I decided to write this poem expressing the viewpoint of a teenager.
