swamp dude

there was a time
where I fell down on a stick
down by the river
I heard the stick breaking
into my skin
I smelled the swamp
pushing and pulling
into my leg
and I tasted water
a dirty musty like armpit taste
and I could see
the blood mixing
into the water
with moss and old dirt
