Tragedy was her name,
Resilience--Her home.
She only knew how to recuperate from lows,
While she shied away from the rare highs.
Because to her,
It was an unfamiliar and nonexistent thing.

She was so used to the on-going storm,
The black clouds that followed her,
The incessant wind that messed up her hair.
And occasionally even when the storm was over,
Cars quickly swerve onto a curb with a million raindrops
And leave her drenched in
Depression, Loneliness, and Hopelessness.
She no longer waited for the rainbow.

She went home one night to shame and embarrassment
As her name flew off her parents’ lips.
She rushes to her room, shuts the door behind her
And falls
right
down.
Hands on her face
As her tears become her only friend.
She again became drenched in
Depression, Loneliness, and Hopelessness.
She can no longer believe that it’s not her fault.

She stormed away from her home,
With eyes dripping more than the sky.
So she took a step towards the edge,
And listened to the calm peaceful raindrops hitting the sea below.

All of a sudden,
She became the teardrop falling down her cheek
She became the raindrop plummeting towards the sea.
This time, she allowed the millions of raindrops win
And she drowned in the
Depression, Loneliness, and Hopelessness.
