Born To Ride
The sound of hoof beats has always been with me.
It all started when I was born.
It was in my heart.
The weight of the beautiful beasts,
Thudding the Earth's ground.
It ran through me.
It was stuck with me.
Loud and clear.
Rushing through my brain.
I knew it was what I wanted.
Starting with my first ride I was addicted.
It was almost like a drug to me,
That unbreakable connection between horse and human.
Wanting the pleasure of riding more and more, everyday.
Not because I'm forced to.
But because the sound of hoof beats is in me.
