The Girl
She was the girl who sat in the corner. The girl who tried so hard to keep her forced laughter and faked smiles looking real. No matter how hard she tried, I could see her. I could see that she was in pain, desperate for happiness and love. She acts like everything is fine when its really not. She plays her cover story well. She can always wiat for the bell because she doesn't want to go back to whatlife is really like. She crys herself to sleep everynight. But everyday she does it all over again. If anyone knew what lies beneath that fake, plastic cover, you would understand. I know this because this girl and I,we are closer than you think.
