You sit there and wonder
But do you dare?
To speak your thoughts
Although they won't hear
No one to listen
They will not care
It's only your opinion
How you see the situation
Do not speak your mind
And you may not retaliate
For they are the adults
And you are the child
You may be right
They could be wrong
But they will not hear it
The real truth is not always known
It can be frustrating
Sometimes very harsh
But maybe one day
You'll be in their spot
