i don't know why

school a place so mundane,
but o how it angers me so
seeing the same faces i've seen countless times
they bother me
i don't know why
i receive a pat on the back by a teacher i know but don't care for
my eyes are veiled by a crimson cover
i am instantly engulfed
i don't know why.
