The bull.
The one who will do anything for his family.
The one who cares about everyone else.
The one who is not selfish.
The one who gives before he takes.
So strong can fight off anything.
Can make anyone die of laughter.

Dedicated to his work, and his kids.
He will protect, he will stand up for his family.

He is my father and he protected us and made us laugh when ever we needed it.
My Dad, he was a baker, he had work all week and on weekends, the only day he had off was on monday.
As soon as I would get home we would go out and do something no matter what it might be.

Us… seperated, I couldn't bare the thought… Until it happened...

Him, now so sick and still strong, all I could do is hope he'd pull through.

He lay there and sleep, we sit there and cry.
He says he is proud of us.
He says he’s done everything he wanted to do here.
He tells us not to cry but, we only could do it more.
I couldn't stand to see him that way.
We cry as he passes and another ripple is made.

A change in my heart.
More and more people flood threw the doors, tissues in all corners of the room.
People I haven't seen in years, people I've never known of.
As we stare and put our heads between our hands, enough tears to fill a small ocean.
We all get through it our own way, weather by laughter, sobbing, denial, and sometimes all of the above.
Two hands on my solders, two brothers sit along my sides.
Hugs get passed through the room, apologies are made.
A reunion takes place but not under the right circumstances.

That was a few years ago; October 25-30, 2009.
