It's High School
It slowly creeps up their lives.
Wiping and blinding their minds.
One by one it takes them down,
Up until they wear those gowns.
It becomes their number one,
So all they do is go have fun.
Their minds slowly begin to rot
And they only think about that pot.
They no longer care for grades
As it becomes to disintegrate.
Popularity can blind us all,
But greed is what kick starts it all.
But none of this will really last
Since it will all become their past.
Not all of us become this way,
But some of us lose friends this way.
It’s unfortunate, I must really say.
But hell, it’s high school anyway.
