Outdoors
I return to the spot that I liked most. I sit on the ground on our wood walkway. The sun beating down on me again. This makes me feel warm, both on the inside and out. I close my eyes and soak in the heat. My favorite thing to do is sit in the sun, and enjoy my surroundings. There is a slight breeze, just enough to cool me off to the perfect temperature. The grass on the ground is rustling with the wind, going back and forth. Colorful flowers sit to my right, the colors, so many are bright and beautiful. Nothing to disturb me here on the ground, peace. I hear a bird chirp in front of me. A bird house with dead, tiny branches coming out of it. I glance down at the wood on the ground, old and faded. Tiny little valley fills the whole board, rough to the touch. I lay back, close my eyes.
