Walk by the Stream
Through the thin steam,
And cold breaths.
We repair the seam,
Of utter worry,
And missing dreams.
We walk near the stream,
Where our lives unfold.
Lately we watch the sun beams,
They guide the birds to there nest.
As they rest they fall asleep,
To their heart beat,
We caress.
Slowly we wrap ourselves with arms,
The arms of our once lovers.
The embrace - it hides us from harm,
From the hurt.
As I scream,
I just here silence.
Hopping we jump in time,
When things were easy – nothing was a scheme.
Your cold lips,
Tell a story of a couple.
The heat of your mouth begins to nip,
Telling of their love,
Of their forbidden script.
