Can you see I’m bleeding?
Can you see I’m bruised?
I can be hurt or scared, depending on his mood.
My eyes are permenantly blackened
My body is constantly scarred
& I am too afraid to tell anyone,
‘cause they might go too far.
I am truly scared, ‘cause they might take me away
From someone who could, one day, care. (R.P)
