Drizzle
that's all I hear,
the sound of rain pulsing against my window,
frantic drops of water,
chasing one another into the abyss,
my eyes beginning to close,
the drops begin to slow,
the drizzle is no more than a mere sound of silence,
that's all I hear,
the sound pulsing against my window.
