The taste of wine fresh on my lips
The squeal of my chair as I rock on the porch

The birds no longer sing
The cars no longer rumble
Everything's
Silent
3:38 am
37 missed calls
No reply
I can't untangle my twisted tongue
I lie back
Only finding solace in cigarettes and the stars.
