I don’t know where she’s from
and I don’t why she stays here
but maybe this
is her home
maybe this place means something
to her
Her clothes are fine looking
not too many rips
not too many tears
a beautiful necklace is always
hanging around
her neck
She doesn’t talk to me
too often
we mostly just do
whatever is needed
And that is why
I love her
My adopted mother
from the forest
in my head
