The warming, summer air
Sweeping the surface of our balmy skin
Dancing through our sun-kissed manes
Sprawled out upon the grass.
The delicate blades
Gently tickling freckled faces.
The pungent smell of earth
Mingling with the glitter in the sky.
Engulfed in a sea of serenity.
Celestial bodies twirling contently.
Their silent whispers signal freedom.
Existing in a foreign world I long to enter.
