If ever I were to thank a single soul,
For molding the person I am today,
I would not utter his name, for I know it not,
The man who gestured so excitedly,
And spoke such vivid gibberish,
That I looked over my shoulder,
Attempting to understand,
Though I never would,
I thank him now with all the heart and soul I can muster,
For it was his gibberish that made me step off the ledge,
And back into life.
