Awaken
Eyes burst open,
Taking in the colors.
Let out a wail,
As you're taken to the mothers.
Up above you see,
A bird carrying you in a sack.
His powerful wings bring you along,
He looks forward with eyes of black.
Stare at him in wonder,
You cry out to the stork,
But he says nothing.
Beak as tight as a cork.
The two of you descend,
And he rests you on the floor.
He nuzzles you with his beak,
And rings the bell of the door.
