Now I lay thee down to sleep
I pray the Lord your soul to keep.
For now you have to go away
I pray you will be back someday.
For God and Country you must go
A sacrifice? We do not know.
Come back safely, this I pray
I’ll put my flag up everyday.
Remember love, remember life
Come back home to your wife.
Dear Lord protect my family
Bring back the troops to me.
