Over crisp tropical tree tops,
through coastal crystal cool waters,
horses’ hoofs beat on pure white sand.
NO, she will never give up…not until they join.

A warm breeze whispers a name
through Quincy Jane’s mustang’s dark mane.
She waits. She watches.
Through night’s fall, and morning’s call…many years,
until her wispy bleach blond hair
And the mare’s night black flair,
come touch…

Over crisp tropical tree tops,
Through coastal crystal cool waters,
Horses’ hoofs beat on pure white sand.
NO, she will never give up…not until they join.

Come rain, come snow,
Come a young fawn with her doe.
Quincy waits and watches from a tree’s inviting shade.
Spring is gone, now summer is on!
Splash! Roar! Woosh!
Waves tickle Quincy’s toes…
While standing in water filled sand,
An inviting carrot comes from her shaky hand.
Facing an early morning’s sunrise, she hears…
Tip toe, cur plunk… cur plunk, splash!
Nostrils flair next to her wispy blond hair,
Warm heavy breathing inches to her side.
With a smile and a nod,
They stand under God…
Drenched with waves she embraces the mighty beast…they join.

Over crisp tropical tree tops,
Through coastal crystal cool waters,
Horses’ hoofs beat on pure white sand.
NO, she will never leave…because they now have joined.
