The color of the soul
How do you believe in yourself when clearly no one else does
Sure they might say they do
But the human soul is as unpredictable as abstract art
Their feelings change from color to color
Red is the color of a coarse anger
That acts before it thinks
But in an instant flows to black, the color of stealth,
When a friend stabs you in the back,
but does nothing but tell lies to your face.
Then it flows to a brilliant blue of unnatural sadness and longing...
To have at least one individual who knows the way you're feeling....
Yet at the same time it is the tranquility of the spirit in its purest form
From there it transitions to a yellow,
The color of an apology,
Where I'm Sorry's turn into bright smiles
That turn into laughter.
And the colors continue to flow And your left with a rainbow
The color of confusion.
And you wonder
What is the color of a soul that cares
