Fire.
Burning.
Passion.
Inflamed hope
On a rocket ship
That is bound to
Burst into flames
At any given moment.
It knows
No way but up.
Faster.
Stronger.
Burn brighter
Than the heaven
Kissed gas beams
In the night.
I love you, but
Love is flimsy and flammable.
Set it to fire.
It’ll be your fuel.
It’ll burn out.
It will burn you.
Let it sting.
You won’t melt
If you pretend
You can’t feel
The heat.
You are so much more
Than you pretend to be.
Free fall from the airplane
That has told you the sky
Is the limit.
I heard that there’s a man who lives on the moon.
He’s called
For you
Time and time
Again.
Close your eyes,
And float away.
Sleep
Is
Solace.
That’s where your wishes can come true.
That’s where it begins.
Happiness
Is planted there
In fertile forests.
The sun never sets fully;
It forever kisses the
Treetops.
Rain drops of prayers
Moisten the soil.
The trees are strong.
My dear,
I beg of you,
Stay asleep and keep counting to ten
As long as you can.
Because once you wake up,
All you have won
Will surely be gone again.
