Falling in Love With You
I’ve never actually known,
Known how it feels.
How it feels to be truly loved;
How it feels to fall in love.
Love.
A silly four-letter word I feared.
A word I had only used for friends and family.
A word I believed everyone had overused.
It was something I believed I would never experience.
I didn’t believe in true love.
So how can the thought of you drive me straight towards insanity?
Yet make me feel so alive?
You’re definitely not perfect.
But you are in my eyes.
I fell for your imperfections,
And I fell hard.
Who would’ve known that a simple word could have so much meaning?
You’re such a hard code to crack; but you’re worth it.
Come on, why don’t you just admit that you’re falling with me?
I promise you it’ll be worth it.
