F-Zero GX
I had been training my whole life for that moment; the roar of the crowd embraces me as I wave to a sea of fans getting ready for history to unfold. My body is shaking like a volcano while I see all twenty nine of my competitors amidst the greatest spectacle of the 26th century. My greatest enemy, the tall and intimidating Black Bull who likes to cause mayhem and destruction in the city, was among them. No one was foolish enough to challenge him. Though I never have, I thought to myself way before that time I would show Black Bull that good always prevails and evil perishes. I had no regrets up to that point and I never have since. My training has brought me trials that I never wanted but I went through them and I saved my life, someone else’s life, my racing machine, got me out of gang problems, and helped me win 1 million space credits. It was a very long road before I had the opportunity to become an F-Zero Grand Prix World Champion.
I was born in Port Town. It was outside of Mute City. Port Town was always busy and the sky a dull orange. The Technology was neither up to date nor fancy. The pollution put a strain on everyone’s mental and physical health, but it helped me to deal with annoying and inevitable dilemmas that I was going to face. There were eight hard, heart pounding, and high stake trials I went through in my life.
Trial 1: It was a hot and very sunny day while I was driving through the desert canyon. I was on my way to the city, but a group of bandits stopped me and the sly, cocky, and ill tempered Samurai Goroh challenged me to a risky duel that if I lost I would lose my precious and life earned machine. The first man to the check point off in the distance was the winner. I had never backed down from a challenge and wasn’t going to start that day. I zoomed to the finish line while Goroh crashed and his Fire Stingray burst into flames. Trial 2: I had finally gotten to the city and stopped by my favorite bar which was the Bet and Race Lottery Bar. I saw Silver Neelson stumble into the lavish bar. He had a gold coin in his hand and he bumped into Mighty Gazelle which sent his shiny gold coin flying. It landed on the table right in front of me. He insisted that I enter the bet race and I did. I had to put on a weird costume, but I wanted to be nice to the old man. The race was somewhat challenging, but I had a convincing win in the end. After the race I saw that Black Bull was terrorizing the Lightning area. Trial 3: on my way to the Lightning area, I was held up by Michael Chain and his gang. He said he wanted to play so I did and showed him who was boss. His buddies gave up so Michael went back as well. Trial 4: I had gotten to the Lightning area when I saw John Tanaka hurt and said that Jody Summer was inside. The building was in horrible and unstable condition. I saw Jody lying on the ground and helped her up to the machine. I only had one minute before the whole place would blow up. I boosted like a mad man out of that unforgiving place. Trial 5: I made it by the skin of my teeth but I was alive and so was Jody. She got to safety, but Black Bull was waiting for me. He was determined to get rid of me permanently so he chained me up with his dark magic and I was bound in my car. He summoned his servant Blood Falcon to put a bomb on top of my car so if the speed of my car dropped below a certain level, my car and I would be blown to bits. I had to drive a windy, dirty, and busy obstacle course to get out of that place. The bomb was knocked off by a hook when I ran off the course. Trial 6: The day that would define my career was upon us. The F-Zero Grand Prix; the greatest, most respected, and heart-stopping race that everyone wanted to win no matter the costs. Black Bull was surprised that I survived but I was more focused on humiliating him by becoming the Grand Prix Champion of the world. I was ready. I was struggling for most of the race while Blood Falcon and Black bull were in command. I was desperate and I knew I couldn’t lose. I went no holds barred and did all the risky moves that I could to get caught up. It worked. I won. I did it. I was on top of the world. Nothing could make this day better.
Trial 7: I was confused to see Black Bull get incinerated by a purple glowing object after the race. There was someone in it; he said he was Deathborn and he was the Champion of the Underworld. He challenged me to a dual for the next day. I accepted. I made my way to his place greeted by a giant grey gate with a devil head on it. I entered to see Deathborn standing next his machine. He told something before we started. He said that the two universal forces that make up our universes which was light and darkness was contained in each of their belts and when their belts combined someone could harness that energy. He was waiting his whole life for this moment; the world would fall into total darkness. Nothing was important anymore except this, I was destined to be here and I wasn’t just going to lose. He was even harder than I expected, but I knew I could do this. Coming off the last turn I knew I was going to save me, everyone I love, and the world. He knew he lost and he spun out of control and exploded into the lava below us. Evil would never get their hands on this; I was proven to never lose. Trial 8: I was back at my place and I had noticed my belt was missing. I looked back and saw that my belt was on the wall flashing and several things came out of it and started to talk to me. They said that they were the Creators and that I beat their best creation. They also said they were going to take out my soul and turn it into their best creation. All I wanted at that moment was to win. Before we started, I had an epiphany. The place where the Creators lived was in a Rainbow Vortex. There were no side barriers and I knew I could fall into the abyss to never return. I would let myself down and the whole world down. I wasn’t nervous. I was ready. That last boost I made was the difference; I won by 10 thousandths of a second. The Creators were cast out of my belt never to return to this day. I put my helmet down and never raced again. I am Captain Falcon.
