Summer
It will be summer before we know it
To all my lovers of colors
We will use trees for shade
And braid our hair while breathing in the fresh air
Sipping on homemade lemonade
When June arrives, we will be dipping our toes in the water
Skipping rocks in the river and keeping sight of the sun
Bright lights and nights that excite
The beach can reach and call our name
It claims that it aims to give us flames of laughter
We will chase after the birds of summer and explore what’s unheard of
From dawn to dusk, the woods will be as beautiful as ever and live on
Herds of words spill out of my mouth about this special season
They fill the earth until it reaches Brazil
My love of summer is like a dove flying free above the North Sea
or like taking the first bite of fresh fruit
Summer, your presence is an essence
