Waffles
Wafting through the air,
a whiff of the wholesome waffles whirl.
Waffles, waffles, waffles, waffles,
So savory,
So crisp,
Wonderfully wonderful,
Plain or with syrup,
Oozing,
down
the
golden
brown
waffles.
Oh, how I Long,
For the first bite,
Crunch,
The fluffy inside melts in my mouth,
And the mapley-ness of the syrup,
Fills my veins,
I am one with the waffle.
Butter,
It melts in with the syrup,
The flavors combining,
In perfect harmony,
Beauty,
Simplicity,
Love.
That is a waffle.
