A bunch of red roses
Shoved at the back of my drawer
A bunch of red roses
Knew everything's over
This bunch of red roses
Trapped memories in mind
Why trap them?
Just simply move on and unwind
This bunch of red roses
Indeed they look lovely
But as time went by
These roses went ugly
A few months have passed now
Forbid myself from crying
It's not that easy
But the fact is I'm trying
These roses went dry
In a corner over there
A bunch of dried up roses
From a time you used to care

I think this poem was extremely creative, interesting, and held emotion. I feel like it could have been metaphorical. I felt that the flow may have been a bit off in some parts but it was good none-the-less. I like that the title was repeated, and that it rhymed. This is the sort of poem I would print on a huge canvas and hang as a center peice.
