He's a handyman,
a fixer upper.
He let's mom be the star
of making our supper.

He's got his own business
a CPA for 30 plus years
He always knows what to do
and doesn't show any of his fears.

He has a hot temper,
but calms just as quick,
He's not above saying sorry
when he's to blame for it.

When I'm at a loss in life
I know where to go
He's my guide, my inspiration
He gets me, that I know.

People say we look alike,
I know that its true
Take a minute, get to know us
we act alike too.

My dad is a good guy inside and out,
He's my protector.
He always knows what to say,
I've actually listened to most of his lectures

He kept me from quitting
my sophomore year
And I know even in college,
He'll follow me to cheer

When I get past college
I'll have my accounting degree
All those people who doubt me now
Will be astounded when they see.

And I owe it all to him.
