Little birds scurry down the shore, always out of reach
While gulls pay no mind to the passer by
The waves eat your footprints up one by one
Erasing all evidence that you had once walked there
Nothing can be seen but sand and water for miles and miles
The wind nips at your bare skin
Perfect seashells pop up here and there
Bleached from the sun and the salt
Nothing clears your mind as effortlessly as salty air
