A Dystopian Paradise
For why do we live in this world?
For pain seems to be more perpetual
and happiness seems to be momentary.
Claiming that the world is such a beautiful place.
Filled with love and phenomenon.
Thinking about the world in a vague perspective
can make one become curious and restless,
under the impression that the world is a utopia.
It takes time for one to see the pain, greed and envy
that is the world. These things blind our true virtues,
destroying everything we love and care about.
Greed can make one do bad deeds, but it does not make
him or her a bad person. Greed seems to define one’s
identity, trapping that person and making him think that
the only thing that he was and always will be is greed.
Humans are not convicts, but we are victims.
We are victims of these horrible qualities.
We have done many senseless things because of these qualities.
Humans are all the same, but at some point in history,
one race had tried to wipe out another.
Wars are waged without a second thought.
What for, wealth, power or to show off a country’s prowess?
People can commit murder for their own benefit.
They are willing to inflict pain on another without an ounce of guilt.
We can try to astound ourselves as much as we want with the
Seven Wonders of the World, but we will always frown upon our
seven billion people.
