Expresso of Life
Expresso of Life
Life is like a cup of coffee
When you’re first developing
You are only waiting in line
To fill up coffee
In your cup of life
At infancy
You are just beginning to pour
The first few drops of coffee
Still without a taste of life
Once you reach childhood
Your cup is starting
To get a true look
At what life will be
When you get to adolescence
Your cup is reaching the top
And you’re getting ready to experience
The actual taste of life
You hit mid-life and your cup is full
You take a hot sip
And your tongue may get burnt at first
But you still take another sip
Elderly is coming up
And you finally finish your cup
You gain energy to move on for a period of time
Then slowly crash…
But every once and a while
You spill your cup
Before your coffee
Is even finished
