Is today the same
As tomorrow’s yesterday
Or is it special
In its own way
Unlike any other day
Or will it last forever like an orchids bloom
Or will it fade away like the wisps of an old rune
Would you cling to it
Or be willing to let it go
To watch it melt away
Like old winter snow
Would you try to persevere it
Keep it under your wing
Folded carefully and placed back in to your memories
Never to forget
So tell me the answer
To our timeless question
Is today the same
