Darkness
I call it darkness, because that’s what it feels like.
Cold, empty, void, dark, colorless,
Just like the thing we call darkness. It seems into me,
takes shelter in my bones, leaves me cold and empty.
It doesn't leave often and it leaves me weak, it takes
every part of me to fight it.
When there is a gap, a little light that shines
through I can barely enjoy it, I have no
energy. It leaves me with little hope,
little faith, little happiness.
I call it darkness
because that’s what it feels like.
